Book review ( all because of a cup of coffee )

  How would you introduce this book?
This book is one of the bestsellers in the world. The cover page shows a mouse,whose name is Geronimo Stilton, is in love! There are many love letters on the table and massine of roses surrounding him, maybe he wanted to give them to his girlfriend!!

  What is this book about?
This book is about Geronimo in love.He was eating his cheddar cheese when a cup of coffee spilled on him.He was very angry but when a beautiful lady apologising to him,he was not angry anymore because he was totally in love with her!After eating,he went back to his office to read that newspaper he had printed.Just to tell you,he owns the most famous newspaper in New Mouse City.While he was reading,he saw the lady who he was in love with on the newspaper.Her name is Stephanie Von Sugarfur and she is working as a model.Geronimo went to the florist to buy five dozens of red roses and a box of chocolate.That night,he waited for Stephanie to call him but no one called.He waited for another two days but still no one called.Geronimo was disappointed and heartbroken.He sat in his office to cry and almost flooded the whole office! Geronimo decided to visit her personally when he saw Stephanie and her boyfriend going to the ball together.That made him even more upset.Just then,his younger sister,Thea,brought him to a place.It was huanted and dark.Thea told him to go up to the tenth storey as there is someone waiting for him there.When he reached,he saw an old woman holding a crystal ball.He was too scared to go in and was just about to leave when she called his name.Geronimo was surprised and wanted to know how did she know his name,so he went in.The old lady told him that she is a fortune teller.She taught him some tricks to be noticed by womans.After that,Geronimo went back home. Thea decided to bring Geronimo,Trap and Benjamin o an adventure trip.When they reached the mountain,they started searching for treasures.In the middle of the night,Benjamin woke Geromino up because he could see a butterfly glowing in the dark.They followed it until they reached a small hole which adult mouse could not enter.However, Benjamin is small so he could enter.Benjamin saw tons of butterflies inside it.It was beautiful!He quickly took a few pictures of it and return to the place they slept the previous night.They saw Thea and Trap still sleeping,they woke them up and show them what Benjamin had taken.Without a moments' delay, Thea told them to pack their things and they went back to publish the photos on the newspaper.The next day,Stephanie went to visit Geronimo.Everytime when Geronimo meets Stephanie,his heart will race very fast but this time round,it was not fast at all.Maybe Geronimo do not like Stephanie anymore.

 I will recommend this book to childen between 7-12 because the words used is easy to understand.

River Safari

Today is my first day of my five day camp organised by oktoasia. My father fetched me and Yi Jia to Mediacorp to assemble. We went to River Safari by a coach. When we reached our destination,we had some snacks before proceeding in to look at the sea creures.I saw many big and really small sea creatures swimming fast and beautiful in the big glass enclosure.It was like perfect 10. Next we went to look at the pandas KaiKai and JiaJia that were adopted from China. Here is the food given for KaiKai-Bamboo-20kg,High Fibre Biscuits-1kg,Carrots-400g and Apples-200g.Here is the food given for JiaJia-Banboos-20kg,High Fibre Biscuits-1kg,Carrots-400g and Apples-200g.We saw KaiKai but unfortunately we did not see JiaJia.I think JiaJia is too shy unlike KiaKia,who is very active.After that,we went to the souvenier shop.I was actually thinking to buy a panda notebook with a pen for $7.90 but I found that it is not worth the price so I did not buy it.Then we went back to the Mediacorp station to have our lunch. I did not really like the lunch because the food served was spaggetie which I hate most.After lunch,we went to the classroom to learnt what does a feeling word being described as.It was quite an enjoyable lesson because we get to watch videos.I had a wonderful day today

Night Safari

Today, together with my friends and I went to Night Safari. My best friend,Yi Jia and I were very excited as we had never been there before.When we reached our destination,we had some snacks first.After eating,we went to look at  different types of sea creatures.It was beautiful and cute.Sometimes I just cannot understand why some evil owners or people wants to abuse animals.Just imagine that you are an animal and were abuse by your owners.How would you feel?I just want to tell people who abused before animals not to do that again because you must not only think about yourself,you got to think about other people too.If we continue to kill animals,they will extinct and we will be starved to death.Next,we went to look at the pandas.I saw KaiKai sitting with the hands on the knee.It was so cute that I wanted to laugh out.Sadly,we did not find JiaJia as she was very shy.As you know that pandas are one of the most endangered animals in the world. In China,if you kill panda ,you may go to jail because pandas are more valuable than people there.It was time to get back to the mediacorp station.We had our lunch first then we went back to the classroom for class.I learnt quite a number of things during it.I learnt how animals speak,synomn and many more!After the lesson,I was very happy and sasified that I had sign up for this five days camp and I could not wait to attend the next lesson tommorow!!!

How would you introduce the book?

This is a fictional book. I think that it is suitable for children because the vocabarly used in the book is easy for children to understand.

What is the book about?

The book is about a girl named Fern. Her father wanted to kill a new- born baby pig that is a runt. Fern begged her father not to kill it and this was what she said, "This is so not fair! Will you kill me if I had been small at birth?" Her father had no choice that he gave the pig to her to take care. Fern loved the pig and she named it Wilbur .Fern was happy having a pig when one day her father told her that the pig was no longer a baby and he had sold it to Mr Zuckerman for six pence. Fern was sad to leave Wilbur but her father told her that she could visit Wilbur as it is just a few blocks away. Wilbur tried making friends at the Zuckerman's farm but nobody wanted. Just then a spider named Charlotte, befriend with him. Wilbur was very happy that he ran jumping around. One day ,a lamb told him that he will be killed for ham during Christmas. Wilbur was very upset. Charlotte decided to help him by spinning the web "Some Pig" The next day, Mr Zuckerman who was bringing food for the pig, was very shocked when he saw the word "Some pig" He thought to himself: He is an unusual pig!

What is your favourite part and describe why is it your favourite part.

My favourite part of the book is after Charlotte spunned finished the word "some pig"on the web. Mr Zuckerman was so shocked that he dropped the pail of food.

I will recommend this book to those who always fight with friends in school because after reading this book, they would understand that friendship is very important ,we should not take them for granted and I hope they will stop fighting.

This book is like a diary that documents the various encounters by a girl named Nikki.   It is frictional and I strongly recommend it for children who like to write diary.  This book is one of the best international sellers for the year.

 
What is the book about?

The book is about what happened to Nikki in school.  Nikki has a classmate named Mackenzie who is very mean and selfish .She is the most popular girl in school because she got lots of perfume and make-up stuff that makes her look pretty .One day, when Nikki was reading a book, Brandon came up to her and asked if she would like to dance with him at the Halloween party and Nikki agreed. After school, Chole and Zoey went up to her and pass her a trash bag dress to wear during the Halloween party. Nikki did not want to turn down her BFF so she said yes unwillingly.  When Nikki attended the ballet class ,her teacher,Mdm Fu Fu told the class that it is a must to attend the animal party .However,  the animal party falls on the same day as the Halloween party !In the end ,Nikki had to wear three different types of clothes to attend three different parties. She was running around like a mad dog,changing different types of clothes.

My favourite part of the book is when Nikki attended the party. She ran around changing different type of clothes that made me want to laugh out.

Hello Kitty came from Japan.It is my favourite cartoon character.Do you want to know why hello kitty do not have mouth?It is simply because the inventor of hello kitty's daughty have mouth cancer and that time she was very upset,so in order for her not to get upset,she inventored hello kitty.Now,the popularity is rising up again.I feel very proud of it.

Susy-Ann's Clock

Today,I am going to share about a very intresting story called Susy-Ann's Clock.Susy-Ann was a very lazy and slow girl.She was late for school,late for dinner,she was late for everything!!When people scold her for being late,she always blame her clock for going slow.When the clockheard what she says,it felt very angry.It is because the clock never did go late and it hate it when Susy-Ann say untruth things.I think that Susy-Ann really deserve a punishment.Lets continue back to the story,so as I say,the clock decided to punish Susy-Ann.Instead of being slowit decide to be fast.The next morning,the clock which was supposed to point at 7:20am-time for Susy-Ann to get up-it pointed at 8:00am.Just than,Susy-Ann woke up.She looked the clock and shouted,"It can't be 8:00 am!I'm going to be running late!"Without a moments' delay,she jumped out of the bed and dressed more quickly than she ever dressed before. She shot down the stairs.There was her mother preparing breakfast.She was surprised to see Susy-Ann.Her mother told her that it is not ever 8:00 and she is already here.Susy-Ann ran back again to her room and look at the time again.It was 10 minutes to eight.Her mother ask her to wash up,make her bed and come down to have breakfast.She did it slowly.A bolt from the blue, the clock struck nine.When Susy-Ann saw that it was 9:00am,she carry her bag and ran down the stairs and out the door without eating breakfast.She forgot to bring her pencil case and lunchbox.Susy-Ann ran as fast as her leg could carry to school.When she reached there,her friends were very surprised to see her there on time.At eleven o'clock,she was very hungry as she forgot to bring her lunchbox.It was finally one o'clock and it was time to go home.At two o'clock,she was surpossed to back to school again.When she reached home,she got to her room to put her bag down.Just as she was about to go down to have lunch,she saw that it was already five minutes to two.Again,she ran down the stairs and out the door without eating lunch.When she reached school,she saw six children eating lunch with a teacher."why are you so early?Its only barely 1:25 and you are already here.""But my clock show  2:00pm.."After saying,she ran home again."How naughty you are!"scolded Susy-Ann's mother. Susy-Ann was getting very angry with the clock for being fast.She pretended to be slow.The clock was very angry and became to  move faster."Caught you!Please forgive me Clock.I promised not to be slow anymore.""Well,I will be the samo clock again if you promised not to be slow again."From that day onward,Susy-Ann was not lazy and slow anymore.

Anne Frank

Anne was born in 1929.She has a sister named Margot.They both made good progress at school.Anne liked taking part in plays and going to the cinema.When Anne celebrated her tenth birthday,her father gave her a diary.In 1940,something shocked happened to the Dutch people which was the Jews.The Frank family was one of them.Anne's father wea very worried.He brought his family to an office that he previours worked at.The workers help him to build a bookself infront of the door.They called it the secret annex.The Frank family got to be very quiet till night.They cannot flush the toilet as it is very noisy.They had dry bread and coffee for breakfast,soup or porridge and bread for lunch and spinach and lettuce with potatoes for dinner.After a month,Anne was feeling quiet sick eating the same thing everday and she had no choice but to endure it.She could not complain to anyone expete her diary.Anne got to stay at the seecret annex everyday.She read books,write her diary and climbed up and down the stairs.On Friday 4 Augest 1944,they was been found!!and as send for concentration camp.She wrote down how difficult lie was about there.In 1945,Anne passed aray from a diease.Herdream wsa to become a writer when she grow up but she has no chance.

About myself

Hello!I am ten years old.I am good at swimming and pulling the violin.My fastest timing for 25m fly is 16 seconds!You can call me Clarice or Ahbee.I do not know why am I called Ahbee.Can anyone tell  me why?My fravourite  color is purple and I love to draw.I wish I can be a lawyer when I grow up.

What I have done today in school

Today,after putting my bag at the hall,my friends and I went to the parade square to play.We had a whale of time playing.During recess,I also play with friends under the hot swealtering sun.Beads of perpiration ticked down our head as we were playing.At class,a relief tacher cami in.She allow us to sit in small groups.I was sitting with Jun Ning wher a letter was pass to us.Currosity got the better of us.We opened the letter and read it.It was from yhe evil Lynn.She wrote something bad!I feel like punching her!

My familys' character

Today,I am going to tell you about my familys' character.Let me just start of with Daddy. Daddy is somehow like a joker at home.He tells us lots of funny jokes.Next,we have Mummy.Mummy like to nag.I think her hobby is nagging.sshh!! don't tell her.Then,we have Crystal,my big sister.She likes to look at her handphone.I  feel like confiscating her phone!!Last of all,we have Cherry.She is very naughty but cute.

What Happened Today

Today my family and I went to Cheng San Comunity Center to have dinner. I was very exited and I thought it wil be fun and exciting.But when I reached there,I had a different impression,I was very unlucky and dissapionted because I had to sit with other people especially the old and grumpy aunty!Ithought for a while:why must I sit with the aunty?!WWWWHHHHYYYY!!!!The aunty was very greedy.She drank two bottles of beer.The reason why she can drink two bottles of beer is because she hid both of the beer under the table were all our smelly feet is!So UNHYGINIC!!!then suddenly,she accidently kicked one of the bottles and it rolled to Mummy's feet!What a mess!!!
